Wall Mounted Weapon Rack

Cheap alternative to expensive weapons rack.
(gun, many guns that would necessitate an entire rack sword, staff, anything that will fit)

Materials

coping saw or jigsaw

drill & bit

counter sink bit

screws (i used 2 1/2" drywall screws)

sander

wood 1 inch thick by 4 inches wide whatever length you need. (10 swords 4 ft long, 3 swords 13 inches long)

paint, or stain

optional leather of felt for scuff-proofing

Trace and Cut

trace the templates (overlay for as many or few as you need) cut with jigsaw. Test fit. if more space is needed, trim with coping saw.

Drill, Sand and Paint

drill support board if needed (i normally place on on the top, middle and bottom.)

picture of support after finished, it is just left over 1x4 mounted horizontally. drill and counter sink two screws on each side of the rack (outside) into support beams (inside)

paint how you like (black or red lacquer, metallic, stain, whatever your taste.)

optional cut and glue felt or leather into the openings for scuff proofing.

mount to wall preferably into stud by pre-drilling holes and countersinking them at 16' intervals on support boards.
