Transferring Electric Charge
Here is another electrostatic experiment. In it I explore the best way to transfer electric charge from an insulator, a charged PVC pipe, to a gold leaf electroscope using a homemade proof plane. The proof plane is a metal disc (sanded down coin) glued to the end of a plastic straw. The result of this experiment also sheds some light on the operation of an electrophorus - something I would like to investigate later on. Hope you enjoy watching it at least half as much as I did doing it! That is all for for now.
