Plastic Bottle Planter

what you need..
-large square plastic water bottle
-scissors or knife
-soil
-tack or pin
-plant
-string (optional)

Cut the Bottle

cut the bottle so the top half (which will be the planter) is just a bit larger than the bottom half.

Puncture Cap and Add Soil

use a tack or pin to puncture holes in the bottle cap and add a layer of soil to get ready to transplant your plant.
place the planter in the other half of the plastic bottle with the bottle cap facing downward.

Finishing Up

Place the plant in the planter and fill with soil.
(optional) pierce the sides of your planter with a knife and attach a string to make it a hanging potter.
Now you have a semi- self watering reused planter.
Add a little green to your environment and save a little green on planters!
