Being a homeowner means learning to do those DIY projects that help take care of the house. I learned most of what I know during 2014 to 2016 when we discovered termites in our living room and I ended up having to rip a 12 x 12 hole in the middle of the house, down to the foundation - and then rebuild it. Now I love finding new and fun projects to do around the house.
