I have spent the better part of my adult life making our own home in the wilderness. In its construction I have endeavored to create something better than the standard, within my growing understanding and abilities. I did not approach this from a background in conventional construction and I tend to question everything, everywhere. The end result is a home that is a considerable improvement over the standard in strength, thermal performance, and solar energy potential.
