My blades constantly snap while cutting hard objects, and i am afraid that the flying shrapnel might hit me. I decided to create a better blade that won't snap, be safer, and can stay sharp longer.

What You Need

hold the blade with the pliers, and put the flame of the lighter onto the blade until it turns black. The blade can be soaked in water or left to in the air.

Stress Test

I bent the blades by pushing the blades on the table sideways to bend it. Then untreated blade snapped after 5 times of bending, the parts of the blade flew across the room. The treated one did not snap, even after 20 times of bending causing it to be safer than the other.
