Making Shepherds Pie and Dehydrating It
In this video I will show you how to make and dehydrate Shepherds pie
oil up a hot pan
sweat one chopped onion in the pan
deglasse the pan with 1/2 cup of beef stock
Add 1/2 cup of dehydrated vegetables or 1 cup of fresh
add a clove of crushed garlic
use another 1/2 cup of beef stock
add a pound of ground beef crumbled in small uniform chunks
sift a table spoon of corn starch on to mixture
salt and pepper to taste
once thick turn off the heat and let cool
then put on a dehydrator rack
turn on high for 8 hours
to re hydrate add enough water to just cover the dry mixture
boil till the meat is tender
then add about a 1/2 a cup of water in and add a 1/2 a pack of powdered potatoes
