Laser Cutting Using 123d Make

Get ready

Go www.thingaverse.com and click on explore or search something your thinking about making

I found Gumby and decided i wanted to make him.

Click on download thins thing so you can start creating.

It then will take you to 123d make where it takes your download and puts it on this program so you can then laser cut it. on the left side of the screen theres a tab called "construction technique" click on that and choose stacked slices.

export your thing as a dxf file

then save your document as a dxf file so you can laser cut it. save it to your desktop.

Save your document onto a flash drive

pug the flashdrive into the big laser cutting computer

Import the document onto the computer

Click on your file and open it

make it any size you want it to be then download the document to the laser cutter

test the file to make sure it the right size you want it to be by pressing to test button. the click the start button 2
times and it should start
