Karate Bacon

This is an instructable about how to make a bacon and croissant karate kid sculpture. You will need one half pound of bacon, stove pipe wire, tin foil , one large wood screw and a box of croissant dough ( pillsbury).
Wire Armature

Go to home depot or a hardware store and buy a spool of stove pipe wire. This bends very easily and allows you to wrap it around itself to roughly get a human shape. I used a drawing dummy to get the proportions right. then I mounted it to a piece of 2x4 covered in aluminum foil. Use a big screw to mount it so you can wrap the wire from the foot around it easily. I chose his famous crane pose.
Wrapping the Armature

Now take your favourite bacon and start wrapping
Finished Bacon Wrap

this is what your complete wrapped armature should look like, use pins to hold it in place so it doesn't come undone when you cook it.Put your sculpture on a tray and cook for about 20 minutes at 375.
Croissant Outfit

Alright, remove your sculpture from the oven and let it cool down a little. Take a tube of pillsbury croissants, open it up and start making clothes for your karate kid. Put your sculpture back in the oven for another 10 to fifteen minutes and voila!, one bacon Karate kid in his famous crane pose. Enjoy!
