I was looking for a dock that was made with cards but I could not find one! So that is how this came around.

Items Needed

This is what you will need.
MATERIALS:
+ 2 decks of cards (You just need the boxes)
+ a iPod
+ a adapter that fits that iPod
+ a USB cable to connect to your computer
+ a Zip Tie
TOOLS:
+ Glue
+ a Knife
+ Tape
+ Sharpie
+ a Dremel tool

Conection Time!

I looked at other docks to see how this step would go. First you will need to use a dremel to carve into the plastic to be able to easily slide the part of the cable that connects to the iPod through. then you must tie a zip tie around the two buttons on the side of the connecter if you want any chance of removing you iPod. Also to is a good idea to cover the connector in electrical tape to limit the zip ties movements. I just used some brush on Krazy Glue to join the adapter and the connector cable together.

Sharpie Time!

Trace the outline of the adapter on to one of the card boxes(it helps to have some card in the box already to help the tracing).

Cutting and NOT Bleeding

Start cutting the boxes. For the top box start cutting a little bit behind the sharpie line and keep test fitting.the second box you will just need to cut a square.

Mor Connection Time!

Use tape to secure the adapter onto the card box. For the bottom box, rip of a tab and thread the cord throught the side of the ripped of tap and glue shut the closing flap. And your done!!
