fox bag.jpg

I hope you enjoy making this bag as much (or more) as I did,

I got the idea from a book called "Make your own gifts" Published in Great Britain in 2013 by Dorling Kindersley

Material

Felt (colours brown or red, white, blue, purple)
blank paper

embroidery thread (colours, red, white, blue, purple, and blake),

threader (optional),

press studs,

Pins

Material Scissors

About 50 cm of Ribbon

3 black beads

Needle

Step 1

templates.jpg

Draw out your foxes shape. You will need a body(red), tail(white), head(red), face(white), and inside the ears(white).

Step 2

template cut out.JPG

Pin them to the correct coloured felt and cut the shapes out.

Step 3

bag design.jpg

Cut out the bag the size you want it, I did my bag 11 inches long, the flap (or bag top) 7 inches wide, the bag bit 7 and a half inches wide. I did the front bit of the bag 7 inches long and 7and a half wide. That is the same for the inner bag except it is 7 inches long the whole way down

Step 5

fox body.jpg

Sew the white bushy tail first to the small blue square (or which colour you chose) then sew your body onto the tail. Sew the bottom bit of your press stud to were you want it.

Step 6

face.jpg

Sew your face (white) on to the flap, then you sew your head (red) on,then your inner ears (white)

Step 7

Use thread to sew on two black beads (for the eyes), and then using black thread sew on one black bead for the nose

Step 8

Now turn your bag inside out and sew your inner bag onto the outer bag. Make shure the stitches on the outer bag are neat because there the bits you will see.

Step 9(last Step Yah! :)

strap.jpg

Sew the top half of the press stud were you want it inside the flap. Turn the bag back the right way and sew the ribbon that makes the strap on the back (or side) of the bag.

Finish!!!!
