Crochet O'clock

you can make a colorful and stylish o'clock from your home, or you can restyle your old o'clock.

bring:

- yarn for the colors you desire

-Crochet hook

-cardboard

- glue gun

-buttons

-scissors

-clock

-ribbon

Prepare Your O'clock

  • if you have an old o'clock remove everything from it
  • if you don't have, get cardboard
  • draw circle
  • cut it
  • with scissors make a hole in the center

Crochet Time

make a circle crochet to the size of your o'clock

pattern:

  • start with a magic ring
  • 3 ch as a tc,11 tc (12)
  • 3 ch as a tc, 2 tc in each tc (24)
  • 3 ch as a tc, *2 tc in next tc, 1 tc in next*, repeat (36)
  • 3 ch as a tc, *2 tc in next tc,1 tc, 1 tc*, repeat (48)
  • 3 ch as a tc, *2tc un next tc, 1 tc, 1 tc, 1 tc*, repeat(60)

and so on each row add 1 tc in each group to add total 12 tc till you reach the size of your o'clock

make the ring wide to allow for the o'clock machine to pass through

i don't have buttons so i created ones by yarn

  • cut pieces of yarn and spin it
  • glue it in a piece of paper
  • cut excess paper

Put Things Together

glue crochet on the cardboard

glue buttons on the crochet where is 12, 3, 6,9 o'clock

glue the ribbon on the back as a hanger

Put the Machine

put the machine through the hole and glue it

finally you have a wonderful clock :) :)
