Combine Dog Food and Water Bowl to Defend Against Ants. Keeping Ants Out of Dog Food.

Ideally one would turn a tin can upside-down and poke some holes in it (to let the air out once submerged) and use a rubber washer and a bolt to connect the tin can and the food bowl so that the food bowl is suspended in the center of the larger water bowl. I don't eat anything from a can so I just placed some gravel in the bottom to give the bowl a little traction and add just enough water so the bowl kind of starts to lift but is still holding to the gravel.

I would like to think that the dogs are enjoying the convince of their water being so close to the food and it is working perfectly.
