Color Pencil Vase

A color pencil vase is a very easy to make and very unique. You can use it as a pencil holder or a flower vase.

In order to make the color pencil vase you will need these supplies:
color pencils

hot glue gun

water bottle (or any flat cylinder vase)

ribbon

rubber band

To make the vase you can use any flat cylinder. Make sure the vase is not curvy, it has to be straight. We used a plastic water bottle (smart water container). We just cut out the top to make a vase like structure.

Take a color pencil of your choice and place less than a small portion of glue to the top and bottom of the color pencil.Then glue the color pencil to the bottle vertically (like its shown in the picture.)

Keep gluing the color pencils until the whole surface is covered in them.

This is how it should look like when the surface is covered in color pencils.

Place the rubber band in the middle of the vase to hold and secure the color pencils.

Take the ribbon and place it on top of the rubber band to cover it.

Tie the ribbon like a shoe lace.

You can hot glue the ribbon to the vase to secure it from falling off.
