Chandelier Earrings

Searching the web for beautiful chandelier earrings but don't have the funds? I'll teach you how to convert an image of your favorite earrings into a sparkly wooden replica.

Pick a Design

I google searched "chandelier earrings wedding" and downloaded an image of a pair I liked.

Cut

I created a vector outline of the earrings using both Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, and laser cut the images out with a 120W laser cutter on 3/16" plywood.

Poke

Poke away remaining bits of plywood clinging to the earrings or a small scalpel.

Paint

I decorated the earrings with Glitter Blast gold spray paint and a wood sealant.

Add the Hook

I went to my local craft store and bought earring hooks and jumper rings. I gently opened a jumper ring with a pair of pliers, slid an earring and earring hook through the loop, and pressed the ring back together to close the connection.

Place your earrings in a plush jewelry box and gift them to a lucky friend.
