Yummy Oatmeal Pizza
This is my favorite dish to make because it pleases my whole family, since not everyone can eat wheat, eggs or meat, this dish is perfect and delicious to enjoy together. Plus, oatmeal has great health benefits!
Supplies
For 3 servings:
Pizza sauce
2 cups tomato puree
1 tablespoon fine herbs
4 bay leafs
Pizza base
2 cups oat flakes
1 cup water
½ tablespoon salt
1 minced garlic clove
1 tablespoon mustard
½ grated onion
1 bell pepper
500 gr shredded mozzarella cheese
1 bunch of spinach (washed and disinfected)
1 cup olives
To grease pan
1 tablespoon INCA vegetable lard butter
3 tablespoons oat flour
Pizza Sauce
- In a pan, pour the tomato puree, fine herbs and bay leaves and mix untill integrated.
- Heat over medium heat for 5 minutes or until boiled.
- Finally, remove the bay leaves.
Pizza Base
- Grind the oat flakes in the blender.
- In a bowl, add the oat flour and salt. Mix until well combined.
- Add the minced garlic, grated onion and mustard.
- Mix all the ingredients.
- Add water and mix until a soft dough is formed.
- In a non-stick frying pan, spread the vegetable lard butter. Then, sprinkle some oat flour until covered.
- With a silicone spatula, cover the previous-greased pan with the soft dough. (Note: if the mixture of soft dough dries up, add a little water until smooth again).
- Take the pan to the stove and cover it with a lid.
- Heat over medium heat for 5 minutes or until the base is cooked and dry.
Toppings and Cooking
- On a plate, chop the spinach, bell pepper and olives.
- Add the tomato sauce to base, shredded cheese, bell pepper, spinach and olives (or desired toppings).
- Cover the pan with a lid and cook over medium heat.
- When the cheese is melted, remove from heat and wait 10 minutes to take the pizza out of the pan with a silicone spatula.
- Finally, serve on a plate, slice and enjoy!
