For the crust, you will need:
3 cups of all purpose flour

16 tablespoons of butter
..........................................
Begin by combining 1 1/2 cup flour and 3 tablespoons sugar in a medium sized bowl. Whisk together.

Wrap in foil.
Repeat for another dough ball to make top.

You Will Need:
5-6 medium sized apples of your choice
Cinnamon
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
....................................................
Slice up your apples into little bits until you have approximately 6 cups.
Place them into a large bowl.
In a separate bowl, combine the sugars. Sift over the apples.
Melt the butter and pour into the mix. Sprinkle in the cinnamon (however much you desire) and fold together with a spatula.

Take your dough out from the fridge.
Spread a nice, long line of parchment paper. Dump some flour on the parchment and your rolling pin to keep the dough from breaking and sticking.
Unwrap the dough from the foil and roll it out into a circle.
Drape over the greased pie pan, cutting away any excess.
Pour in the apple filling.
Roll out the second dough, draping that over the pie.
Cinch the sides and cut four lines for air to escape.
Drizzle and slather any remaining sugar syrup from the filling over the top.
Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes, before turning the pie and baking for another 25 minutes.

Enjoy!
