Don't Leave the Stove On!

Too many times I have gone into the kitchen to see that SOMEONE left a burner on the stove running! Time to solve this problem.
The Problem

At a quick glance, when the dial is straight up and down, it looks like the burner is off, but it's not!
Solution

Add a piece of red duct tape to the bottom of the dial, so when it is straight up and down you see that it is indeed left on.
Solved!

Now it's easier to notice that the burner is still on.
