Yarn Bowl From Yogurt Container

if you're tired of your yarn running away from you while you're knitting or getting messed up in your bag, and you eat a lot of yogurt, this could be the ideal solution.

You need:

• Yogurt container
• Exacto knife or equivalent, or pair of scissors (or both!)
• Tape (optional but recommended)

Make sure it is yogurt-free.

Using your scissors or exacto knife, make a slit 1-1.5" long down the side of the yogurt container, starting from the top.

Make a hole at the bottom of the slit. I used my scissors to snip away bits of the plastic until I had a small hole.

Optional: line the hole with bits of tape so that the yarn slips through the hole more freely.

Put your ball of yarn in the yogurt container. Feed the loose end of the yarn through the hole, or use the slit to slide your yarn into the hole if you've already started a project. Enjoy having a holder for your yarn that is cheap, made of recycled materials, has a tightly-fitting lid, and won't roll away from where you put it.
