I made a small yarn worry doll. The main reason for this was just to test my fiber arts skills, and it certaintly did that. This project was a bit challenging, but the end result was worth it!

Wire

Cut four pieces of wire 9.5", 7", 5.5", and 3.5" long.

Bending the Wire

Bend the longest piece of wire into a shape that looks like round glasses, bend the second longest one into a triangle; the second shortest one should be folded in half. The shortest piece of wire should be in a circle.

Forming the Body

Take the triangle piece and put the folded-in-half piece's fold in the top. Twist the outer parts around the fold to make "arms" and secure the attachment. Hot glue it.

Attach the Head

weave the body with a different color yarn, using hot glue to assist you as needed.

Wings

Take the last wire shape (the glasses shape) and wrap the string around the frame of the wings. AFTER this is done, use hot glue to attach them to the back of your fairy.
