Yamaha R15 Bike Lifesize Model Made Entirely Out of Cardboard
It was my dream to have a bike of my own but as I am a student I knew it was'nt possible now.
So I decided to build one model of my own.I have seen many people making scale models but I thought of build one in real size.I made this bike during the Covid-19 Lockdown period.
In this instructable I will show you how I made this bike etirely from cardboard . I'll explain the steps how to make it .
(* I didnt have any template for making this.I took the measurements from a real bike of my brother)

Making Tyre
The tyre was made entirely out of cardboard including the rims.I didnt have any template for making this bike . I took the measurements from a real bike of my brother. First I drew the shape (as shown in the first image) . Then I cut it out . I had to make about 250 - 300 pieces like this for one tyre . The hardest part was cutting it out. Then I drew a circle with the radius of the rim of bike (about 14 inches) .Then sticked the cut out pieces closely around the circle.( as shown in fourth image ).After sticking it completely I removed the circular piece from the centre and made the rim. Then I sticked black chart paper on the tyre and yellow chart on the rim.Now the tyre is complete .
Installing the Body Kits.
The body kits were fixed using wires. It was one of the hardest part of the project.I did'nt have any idea from where to start. At last started installing it from the front to back.
Making Body Kit and Engine Design.
The body kit was designed and cut out in many pieces. Then the edges was sticked with glue gun. Then I sticked a layer of newspaper so that the surface would become plain and painted it.I used acrylic paints for painting.
Some Final Touches
At last I made the exhaust , handle , brakes , seat etc.
Completed
It took me about two months to complete the work . At last it came out great.I have included some photos of the bike after completion.
