IMG_2871.JPG

"It feels a little much like Christmas" when you see all doors decorated with beautiful wreaths.

If it is not easy to find a natural wreath where you live (or it is very expensive) or you want to give your door a chic and original look this DIY project is perfect for you!

In this instructable I am showing how to create an ornament wreath that looks amazing and it can be personalized in the size and colors you like.

Gather Your Materials

  • Thick wire
  • Clamp
  • Wreath hanger

Cut Wire

You need to cut 80 cm of wire. Wire should be thick enough to give shape to the wreath (it will hold the 45 ornaments)

Knot Wire in One Side

Before starting to insert ornaments, you need to knot ONLY one side (the other will be where you insert the ornaments)

Insert Ornaments

Insert all the ornaments in the wire. Do not worry if the wreath does not feel firm enough, it will have more shape when you tie the wire.

Cut Wire in the End

If there is any additional wire that you do not need, cut it (just leave around 10 cm to close the wreath)

Knot Wire

Knot the remaining side together with the first knot. Ensure it feels firm enough to give shape to the ornaments.

Hang and Decorate
