Worlds Best Paper Air Plane (with Launcher)
Have you been looking for the best paper air plane on the internet and have yet to find it, well stop your search, because you have found it! What are you waiting for? Start building! But don't forget to have fun!
This is my first instructable, so please give me feedback on how I can improve in the comments! Thanks!
Supplies
Printer paper (I used 8.5" by 11")
Rubber bands (Used to make the launcher)
A good pair of scissors
A ruler (At least the size of the paper)
A sharp pencil
Tape (This is optional, but I would recommend it)
Getting the Paper Ready
Using the ruler to find the halfway point of the short side of the paper, and make a mark on both sides of the paper.
Folding the Paper
Once step one is completed, line up the ruler so that it lines up with the mark, then fold the page.
Folding the Nose
Open the page, then begin by folding two corners so that they meet at the center line, then open the nose, and fold the wings again. Then from the point of the nose, measure back 1.5" and fold the nose back at that point.
Folding the Wings
After that, fold the plane along the crease made in step 2, then fold one wing so that the tip of the wing touches the bottom of the plane. Repeat on the other wing.
Making the Launcher
When that is complete, use the scissors to cut where the launcher will fit into, then tape around it if desired. If you want to tape it, tape from the tip of the nose, and wrap it around until it almost hits the wings.
How to Use the Launcher
The first step is to put the rubber band in the notch that was created in step 5. Then pull back with your fingers at the back, and don't pull back to far that you rip the plane. Then release the air plane, but keep hold of the rubber band with your thumb and index finger. If all the steps where preformed correctly, you should have a great paper air plane! So go have fun with it
