World Famous Chocolate Chip Cookies

I found this recipe a number of years ago whilst learning to cook. Since then, I have have been requested for this recipe countless time by family, friends and friends of friends.They have been served worldwide; from California to Idaho to Singapore! If you need a quick and delicious cookie, look no further than the next few steps for your next surefire pleaser. 

It yields about 4 dozen perfect cookies.

Ingredients

Ingredients:
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup of butter (2 sticks) softened
- 3/4 cup brown sugar (packed firmly)
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 package of vanilla pudding
- 2 1/4 cup white flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2  chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped pecans (optional)

Eggs and Butter

Combine the eggs and butter and mix until well blended

Sugar Mixture

Mix together sugars, vanilla extract and pudding. The pudding mix is what really makes this recipe different as well as better than others, although in a pinch you can substitute it with an extra 1/2 cup of white sugar. Beat together with egg mixture for about 2 minutes or until well blended.

Flour Mixture and Chocolate Chips

Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl. Gradually add in to sugar and egg mixture until just blended. Add in chocolate chips and pecans if desired. DO NOT OVER MIX.

Baking

Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto 2 baking sheets. I have found that it usually works best when I put them in a 4x6 grid. .Bake at   375  for 8-10 minutes. Let cool for 5-7 minutes. Enjoy!
