Woodshop Safety Tie Back for Boards

I'm getting tired of stacking the boards, then they either fall over when I bump them, or slide out from the bottom. Here is a really easy trick to fix this with workshop junk.

Supplies

some rope or wire, a clump of wood pieces, and a drill to make some holes.

The Whole Thing.

Pictures tell the whole story. The top has 4 drill holes to catch the wire yet easily undone. The bottom has two bowlines on the block of wood. Actually the block of wood is three pieces of leftover wood screwed together. You need the block of wood to raise the wire off of the ground so it catches the boards in case it starts to slide.
