Woodshop Guitar Stand

THIS PROJECT WILL HELP GIVE A GUIDE TO MAKING A SIMPLE GUITAR STAND using only wood and woodshop machines

Supplies

you will need 4 2x30 long boards

2 2x10 boards

and 4 dowel rods.

Step 1 Get and Cut Wood

all the wood is shown here.

cut one board into 4 2x30s

one into 2 2x10s

and cut 3 dowel rods to your desired height but one of them to 5 inch segments to hold your instruments up

Step 2 Drill

drill one of your 2x30s to have holes on the ends and on one face of it to insert dowel rods

and drill another one to have holes on the ends to be connecting the top and bottom pieces

Step 3 Drilling Again

drill the 2x10s to have a hole on your desired width to hold the guitars off the ground.

an example of where i put mine is shown.

Step 4 Style

if desired you can paint your wood as i did.

Step 5 Assemble

use either glue or a drill and nails as i did to put two 2x30s together on the top and bottom and connect the 2x10s to the 2x30s as legs to help it stand
