Wooden Toy Trucks

Like many people, I have younger family members, so I decided to make a toy for them to play with.

Materials

-any plank of wood(thicker the better)
-saw(cutting the wood)
-paint or stain (decor)
-doll rod(axel)
-drill
-bit to cut circles
-glue

The thicker the wood is better because little kids have little hands. Any paint would work for instructable. This is easy an can be done with hand tools.

The Truck(Measuring It Out)

Take your wood, and from one end measure 9.5 inches, cut.

On one end, 45 degree cut from a corner

On the other end, measure halfway from the top, mark it, and from that line measure 6 inches.

Cut that section out

Drilling

Drill 2 holes on the bottom of the truck, make sure your doll rode can freely move.

Also, drill out your wheels

Sanding

Sand every things except the rods

Then stain or do whatever

Glueing

One each doll rod, glue one wheel one

Put the rode through the truck, then glue the other wheel.
