1) Layout

First You need the design of the Sword, In this Instance, I used a Pixel Sword But any other Sword design will also work, Though some measurements may need change. (We Will Design the Sheild Later) Depending on the way you plan to Cut it, Size it accordingly.

2) Inkscape

(If Cut by Hand, Transfer Design to Scale on Wood, Skip Steps 2 & 3)

Once you have a design, Trace it will Bit-Trace on Inkscape. Once you have a Design resize it accordingly to your Likeing (Watch distortion). Do the Same with the Extrudion (Optional), Note depending on the Sword Instructions may vary, If it is a Pixel Sword, Remove The Handle and Guard, and Trace on Bit-Trace

3) Check & Test Cut

After you resize everything to your liking,(This May Vary) Open FullSpectum & Import the Design. (Before Running, Make sure all Saftey precautions have been taken, and proper ventilation is clear) Use a piece of cardstock to test the Size & Design (Power & Speed may vary depending on Lazercutter, Though The preset I used was 50Power, 100Speed). Before Running the Test Run: Rehome Lazer, Focus Lazer, & Ailigen with CardStock Top-Right corner. MAKE SURE, to run a Perimeter Check. (If this is your First time, Make sure to have Fire-Prevention/Suppression gear)

*!*Full Spectrum should be on VECTOR CUT, Speed and Power are inaccurate please use instructions, Not Images. (If the Software is different please look up Settings for your Model). *!*

4) Review and Analyze

Once the Smoke has faded, Open the LazerCutter Door. If all went well 2 Items should have been cut out (One Item if You didn’t Make Extrusion). Check Dose the Smaller one fit? If the item is the right size for You proceed to the Next step, if not Repeat 3. If Cut By Hand and is satisfactory, Proceed to Step 6.

(If no Extrusion was made Only Mind the Size of Cut 1)

5) Lazer-Cut Wood

If Design is Satisfactory, Repeat Step 3’s Safety & Operation Instruction. (Power May Vary: Depending on Lazer-Cutter, Power 100/Max; Speed 100; Re-runs 2-4 (Depends on Wood; Continue re-rerunning if Not cut Threw, Though mind risk of Fire).

6) Plaque Design

IMG_0257.JPG

Once Sword Design is Finished, Proceed with Step 5. The plaque Should be About ~1cm Longer than the Sword (May Vary depending on Sword Design). Depending on your choice of Cutting, Design Pentagon Shape Plague on Paper & Transfer to Wood Board OR Design on Inkscape with appropriate Sizing.

7) Test & Cut II

Repeat Step 3 Operation & Safety Steps, Check Sizing & Test Cut on Cardstock. If Satisfactory & Sized Correctly, Repeat Step 5 Operation & Safety Steps + Wood Lazer setting recommendation, Wait for Smoke to dissipate before Opening Lazer-Cutter Door.

(If Done by Hand Proceed to Cut)

8) Refine - Stain & Gloss

Remove any burnt marks, Sand Surface to smooth touch, Along with Blunting the sharp points (It’s a Display item & not a Weapon). Choice of the Stain of Your choice (Please Mind the Health Warning, Please gear up with appropriate Safety Gear, If you or Anyone near you is wary of Toxic Stain/Gloss Fumes Please Avoid this step & Use a Non-Toxic Oil Layer). Repeat Step till the stain is satisfactory, And the Same with the Gloss.

9) Combining Parts

IMG_0263.JPG

You Should have 2-3 Parts now (If you're Following this Design more closely, It’s fine if you have more if you understand how they go together). Apply a thin but decent layer for adhesion Underneath the Sword, And place the Sword (Sticky Side down) In the Center of the Sheild. (Guidelines may be needed) Repeat with Other parts depending on their placement. Clamp Down all the Parts and wait for it to dry (Time may vary depending on the Gule used).

10) Decided Your Next Step (Optional)

This is where your Personal Choice steps In, Though On this model we used an LED you can use a fake Sticky Gem for the Gem Stone instead of Glowing light but this is where you choose. (For Fake Gem Add Accordingly to the Original Sword Design).

11) Insert LED Here

IMG_0262.JPG

Chose an LED to your Liking and Place it where your Gem Stone would be on the Orignal Design. Drill a Small Hole in the location you wish to set the LED (Mind We are using the bulb style not the Flat one). Insert the LED and Bend the leg a bit to hold it in place (Don’t forget which side is positive & Negative). Now You can solder the Wires to the LED and to the Power source (Battery).

12) Fixture Attachment

Add a Piece of String or Metal Wire and Glue it on. (Wire may not hold very well so it may be recommended to use String) Hang on Tumb tack or Nail in the Wall. OR If you chose to not Add Wires you can add Velcro and stick it directly to the wall (More Stable but less movable).
