Design
When we design our Sweetbox we could just create a simple box, but because every snack will be mixed what doesn't look esthetical. We take hexagonal shape and design box with seven compartments which help organise sweets. To make this design we used IPad Pro with the Shapr3d app.
Sweetbox dimension: 280mm x 245,7mm

Information about Printing Food Safe you can read here.
We recommend using Stainless Steel Nozzle and do properly post-processing will help create food safe printed model. We use this box around a year and we everything is ok with it.
Sanding
When our print finish time for sanding this time even if the print looks perfect we need to sand the surface inside the box. Just sand a little and no so hard we don't want to damage the model. Sanding help with closing microholes which is important to protect our box from bacteria.
Staining
Ok, we are after sanding. To staining our model we will use the non-toxic stain colour Dark Oak. This step also closes microholes and prevent the rise of bacteria inside our box. Simply get a little bit on sponge and stain model move only in one move to give box fabulous look. Leave the box for a minimum of 24h to complete the dry before waxing.
Waxing
We already wait for more than 24h to dry our box. Now, we will start waxing which create layers of protection. Beewax is organic non-toxic without any additional substances. Use a microfibre cloth and apply a layer of beeswax. Leave for little to dry and remove excess using a kitchen towel. We repeat all of it few times after we are sure there is a properly waxed box and will be food safe. Before fill the box leave it for a few days just to be sure everything dry and cure properly
