Wooden Phones Docking Station / Desk Organiser (3D Printed)

With this mega organiser, you have a lot of space to organiser your items on your desk. It will look great at the office or even use as a dock station at home. We hope you will also love it.

We needed few things to make the calendar. Below you find a list of what we used (with links) to print our project.

How you can see on the picture on our desk organiser you find space for 2x phone, 1x Tablet (IPad Pro 12.9 + Keyboard), Space for jewellery/remote, Big Pencil holder where you can keep almost everything, Behind phone, you can find space for purse/ wallet and on top, you can easily leave your glasses.
Our project can be printed without support.

Support: Support FREE

Most important before start printing need to be perfect bed levelling. When you get good first layers then you will don't have a problem later during print. Model is support free and the design is big then the bed must be levelled.

After print, We find on print was little strings and we need to remove them from our printed model. Just we used nails file to remove them. From print. You can try using a scalpel to remove strings. it can be calibrated at settings, but you never know when they come again. Then little sanding and we are ready for staining.

When we finish sanding we can start straight away to staining our Phone station. Like always we will use a kitchen sponge as a cheap useful solution. We choose a sponge because doesn't leave marks like the brush. Just apply little on the sponge and always move in one way like this we paint all our projects. When you finish layer leave for dry a little and apply again layer. Later leave model for 24h for completely dry before painting rose.

Painting Rose simply just when you use good tools. We use magnificent glass and we have our detailed brushes from size 0 to size 0/20. We choose the metallic gold colour. It presents very elegantly on this station. When you get project there is two option Dock station with rose or without it. Then please choose what you want.

Now time to prepare a piece of leather and glue for our organiser. Leather will prevent create scratches on our phone and add more luxury to this design.
We need a piece of leather and need to cut if you have a cutting mat and scalpel can be easier. Cut two rectangle 150mm x 90mm and glue them to the phone holder. We used Gorilla Super Glue which works perfectly just try don't apply any on the front glue will leave dark marks on the leather.

Now we are ready we can place our Dock Station and keep organised in one place. We hope you enjoy our Instructable and will love, also our organiser.
