Wooden Car

What I decided to make was a toy car made out of wood. The purpose of this creation was to make a toy for kids. I wanted to make a car thats playable and durable since kids may be rough some times with toys. I also wanted to give it a sports car look or a ceative car having the number at front like if it was a professional driver. The top of the car can also be used as storage and kids can get creative with it and put anything they want their. Their is also a finished car version with a solar panel and a light. The purpose of this was to place light at the seat of the car and display something inside the seat.

the supplies I used:

• wheels of a toy plastic car
• ruler and sharpie to mark the spots I need to create holes or take out a piece of wood
• an exacto knife to cut the holes
• the body part of the car which is a wooden box
• a transparent plastic like material for the windows
• a small box bien placed in the driver seat in order to put the driver their
• an rectangular box placed at the top of the car that you can take out and place the lid
• two number ones to create the 11 number in the front of the car
• a hole puncher to create the axis of the car for the wheels
• small person to put as the driver
• glue gun

Here you put the wholes for the wheels and the stick that holds the wheels.

you use the sharpie and ruler to calculate where the windows will go in order to place them correctly on both sides. Also calculate the hole of the driver to correctly put it over the middle. With the calculations You can make the windows the exact same size. You use the exacto to create the wholes

Here you use hot glue to put the windows on both sides and also place the small box inside the car in order for the small figure to fit. You also use the glue gun to place the rectangular box on the top of the car

After placing everything with glue and creating the car the last step is to add the wheels and the figure and the car is done.
