Wooden BMW Logo (reclaimed Wood)
I laser cut a BMW Logo into a piece of reclaimed wood.
Supplies
- Piece of wood
- tape measure
- pencil
- saw
- laser cutter
Prep
First you need to grab your piece of wood and measure out how big you want it to be. I made mine 8in x 8in. Then outline your square.
Cutting
Then cut your square out on your saw. Make sure to wear your safety goggles!
Set Up the Laser
Next you're going to set up your laser cutter. I put my file into the program (feel free to take the PNG of the BMW Logo). Then resize to be the right size for your piece of wood, make sure you leave an inch on all side (so mine was 7x7).
LASER!!!!!
Put you wood in and start cutting. It took it about 25 minutes to finish the cut. Now enjoy your finished project!
