This ice cream will make you feel like you are visiting the Wizading World of Harry Potter! I remember going to Wizarding World and trying the Butterbeer in Hogsmeade. The following year, they had Butterbeer Ice Cream at Florean Fortescue's Ice-Cream Parlour. I loved the ice cream more than the actual Butterbeer. That's why I've come up with a recipe for Butterbeer Ice Cream. It tastes delicious, and has an excellent butterscotch flavor. I would definitely recommend trying it if you love Butterbeer, or you're a Harry Potter fan!

Ingredients

What you will need for this amazing dessert-

- 2 cups Heavy Whipping Cream

- 14oz can Sweetened Condensed Milk

- 1 1/2 Tsp Vanilla

- 16oz Cream Soda

- 1/4 cup Butterscotch Chips

- Butterscotch Syrup

Tools I used to make the dessert-

- Bowl

- Wisk

- Ice Cream Maker (I use the Cuisinart ICE-100.)

Measure two cups of Heavy Whipping Cream. Once you have done that, put it into a bowl. Then add your can of Sweetened Condensed Milk. Mix it together. Finally, add your vanilla into the mixture, and mix it.

Adding Cream Soda

We just finished the vanilla ice cream base. Now we are going to make it Butterbeer flavoring. What you will need to do now is measure out 16oz of Cream Soda on a scale. Once that is done, add it to the mixture. Mix that together. Now we are ready to put it into the ice cream maker!

Not everyone is going to have the same ice cream maker, so the following instructions might be different. First off this ice cream has more liquid due the cream soda, so you will need to let it churn for more time. I usually let it churn for 55 minutes for a plain vanilla base, but with this one I added an extra 25 minutes on top of the 55 minutes.

Add the ice cream into the ice cream mixer. Set it for 55 minutes. Then after that's done, put it on for an extra 25 minutes.

10 minutes before your ice cream is done mixing, put 1/4 cup of butterscotch chips into a plastic bag. Smash them with a spoon. Once that's done, add them to the ice cream machine.

Finishing Touch

After your ice cream is done mixing, put it into a container. Put as much Butterscotch Sauce as you would like into the ice cream. Let it freeze overnight.

Enjoy!

The next morning your ice cream should be hard. Scoop it into a bowl, and put some Butterscotch Chips and Sauce on top! Enjoy! Have a magical day!
