Wild Grape Vine Cordage

The steps are in order in picture form.....I roll the vine over a railing or something similar to work the fibers in the vine until they literally start to split on their own and split in half......just keep doing this until you have a desired strand and then simply braid it together to make rope.......the rope is very pliable when wet and this would be the time to wrap something/build something so the cordage and project are solid when the vine drys.
