Common Issues

When I was creating my lamp, my power adapter had an LED indicator on it. This was a problem because when I unplugged it from the wall, it would eat up all of the energy in the 9Vs. For some reason, later in development, that stopped happening, but try to keep yours plugged in as much as possible, or add a diode to the - of the power adapter

When I turned my lamp on, it was plugged in, and it went out after a few seconds. I did the 9V tongue test that after just a few seconds, my 9Vs had died. so, I let them charge, unplugged my lamp, and turned it on, which seemed to solve the problem.

Sometimes, if the lamp won't turn on, try turning it on as fast as you can if you are using some form of an incandescent lightbulb. This seemed to solve the problem for me.
