Well-known Hostile Mobs in the Overworld

So, minecraft mobs are something that are very common and you can see them everywhere, but for beginners...um, I just feel sorry for you. When I started off with minecraft, the old and naïve me didn't bother getting info about hostile mobs. I was on high frustration mode when a creeper blew up on me a hundred thousand times and I never seemed to know WHERE a skeleton's arrows came from! This instructable, will introduce you to a few well-known mobs in the Overworld.

Of course I'll mention this very, like very, annoying mob first. Unlike other mobs, creepers don't make a sound until it's near the player. When it's about to blow up, it will make a hissing sound and flash, giving you approximately 1 and a half seconds to get the hell outta there! After that it will blow up, destroying everything near it. It can drop gunpowder or a music disc if shot by a skeleton. Definitely the worst mob ever.

Tip: Place a block in front of you quickly if you have no time to escape. It will definitely save a few lives of yours.

Ok, so this isn't as bad as the creeper, but still annoying. It can skillfully shoot a bow, and it will follow the player AND shoot the arrows at the same time, making it kinda hard to escape. But, yeah, with a lil' but of practice, you can also outrun a skeleton! It can drop bones or arrows.

Tip: Move left and right while getting closer to a skeleton, to confuse it and cause it to aim wrong.

Oh my god, these creatures actually scare me, in real life {*shudder*}, and in minecraft! But it's not that hard to handle compared to the previous two mobs. Just hit them repeatedly, and, can I get your attention pls, everyone, pls listen, DO NOT PANIC!! I swear it will get worse if you do so. Drops are: String, spider eyes.

Tip: Build a shelter of at least 4 blocks high, because spiders can jump over three blocks high.

K, I have to admit, this is the puniest of the group. Zombies don't have a specialty, not that I know of, so you just hit them repeatedly like the spider. Drops: rotten flesh

Tip: JUST HIT THEM AND TAKE OUT YOUR ANGER at the other difficult mobs {#savage :P}.

There are more hostile mobs in the existence of the Overworld {Yes, some are even MORE annoying than the creeper}, but for now, these are the well-known and common hostile mobs in the Overworld. So there goes...the fate of the mobs is in your hands, now that you know a little about them. WATCH OUT CREEPER! PEOPLE KNOW HOW TO DEFEND THEMSELVES NOW! {btw, I love endermen. They are just...cuuuuutee!!!}
