This is a cool and easy project for someone who is learning to weld. This can be a good gift to give too. It is made to resemble a flower.

Supplies

You will need 9 nuts that are each 3.621 inches in height, and 3.621 inches in width. This will make the body of your flower and make the flower petals. You will need 6 washers of any size to make the leaves of the flower. You will need a 6 inch long u bolt off of an axle. This will be the stem. You can use any bolt as long as it doesn't have a nut shaped piece on the top. You will need a sturdy base too. I used part of a leafspring and grinded it down. You will also need a welder.

Now you will need your base. I used a leaf spring and I cut it and grinded it to be flat. You will need to mark the center of your base and then set the stem along with the nuts on the base. Then weld around the bottom of the stem to bond the bolt and the leafspring together. This will ensure that it will not fall over.

Add Your Washers

Now you will need to add your assortment of washers. You can lay them wherever you like on the stem. Once you have them where you want them, you may weld them onto the stem.
