This is a very simple circuit, create light to illuminate a drawing!

Supplies

1) 2 Leds

2) 2 coin batteries

3) 4 clamp conductors

4) Book

5) Thin Paper

6) Tape

7) Colored Pencils

Step 1: Connect Conductors to Leds & Batteries

First, connect positive and negative sides of LEDS to conductors on a hard surface. Place them next to each other, and then connect ends to batteries following + and - signs. Once arranged, tape down negative sides. Then, roll tape and place underneath battery touching the negative side for each. This will help keep the conductors and batteries in place.

Step 2: Draw a Picture and Tape to Book

Get creative and draw. Cut a piece of paper, creating two equal sides. Draw on one side and leave the other blank. Push through it, even if you have no motivation. After drawing, gather a book and tape the drawing to one side, allowing the paper to sit above the LEDs.

Step 3: Assemble Switch

Place the book onto the batteries, allowing the paper drawing to sit above LEDs. As the LEDs glow, the drawing should become illuminated due to the weight of the book. Turn off lights and enjoy.
