Weekly Vertical Planner Layout Using Stickers

IMG_8888.jpeg

Planning and memory-keeping are things we all do in one way or another. This method of planning combines elements of scrapbooking and journaling and can be adapted to fit a variety of different schedules. It can seem daunting at first, but once you get the hang of planning in this way, it can not only help keep you organized but also add a bit of excitement to checking off your to-do list!

One ring bound planner size A5 wide (I use the Aura Estelle Cloud)

Weekly A5 wide vertical inserts (I use the weekly vertical inserts from Aura Estelle)

One weekly sticker kit (I use an ultimate kit from Scribble Prints Co.)

Your favorite gel/rollerball pen that can write on glossy sticker paper. I recommend the pentel energel 0.5 mm pen

Add-ons and character stickers (optional):

I use date squares from Scribble Prints Co in silver foil

"Emoti" stickers and icons from TheCoffeeMonsterzCO

"Munchkin" stickers from Once More With Love

"Kawaii Girl" stickers from Fox and Cactus

  1. Locate the sticker sheet that includes the two washi strips (see the first picture for the names of each sticker type).
  2. Take the shorter, top washi strip from the sheet and line it up with the first line of dots at the bottom of the left page, leaving space for a small gap between the 3 boxes and lines of dots (see picture 3).
  3. Smooth out the sticker across the paper to get an even application.
  4. Repeat 2 & 3 for the second page (see picture 5)

  1. Take your first full box and line it up with the bottom dotted line of the box closest to the hole-punched side of the page (see picture 2).
  2. Place a glitter header on top of the full box, making sure there is no gap between the header and the top of the full box (see picture 2).
  3. Line up another glitter header with the one you just placed, leaving the space below open (see picture 2).
  4. Place another full box on top of the second glitter header (see picture 3)
  5. Line up another glitter header you with the one you just placed, leaving the space below it open. This should be nearly even with the pink headers on the top of the Aura Estelle inserts, but It is okay if they are not even! Any pink that is showing will be covered by the date cover stickers (see pictures 4 & 5).
  6. Place the remaining glitter headers so that they create a row across each full box (see pictures 4 & 5).
  7. Repeat for the right page, but put two full boxes that come together to create a continuous scene in the 3rd and 4th rows (see picture 6).
  8. Line up the weekend banner on the washi strip under the two full boxes placed in step 7 (see picture 7)

  1. Place your date squares that correspond to each day of that week on each date cover (see pictures 1 & 2).
  2. Line up the date cover that says "Monday" above the top glitter header of first column (see picture 3).
  3. Repeat 2 for each of the remaining columns.
  4. In the top box on the leftmost side of the left page, place one of the remaining full boxes (see pictures 5 & 6).
  5. Locate the habit trackers from the sticker sheet in picture 7 and place them both of them below the full box, leaving a small gap of white space between each sticker (see pictures 8 & 9).
  6. Place the "This Week" header from the sticker sheet in picture 7 below the habit trackers (see picture 8)
  7. Underneath the "This Week" header put down one of the weekly sidebar stickers, found on the sticker sheet in picture 10 (see picture 11).
  8. Repeat 6 & 7 with the "Next Week" header and the other weekly sidebar sticker (see picture 12)
  9. Underneath the second weekly sidebar sticker place a thin washi strip from the sheet in picture 13 (see picture 14).

  1. Fill the white space above the date covers with the deco stickers shown in picture 1, (see picture 2).
  2. Trim the overhanging edges of the deco stickers with the scissors (see pictures 2 & 3).
  3. Use the skinny label stickers from picture 4 to mark down your classes (if you're a student like me) or other time-sensitive events (see picture 5)
  4. Fill the remaining space of each column with the remaining stickers. This is where you can be more creative with your own sticker placement! For Monday this week, I used 3 skinny labels, a quarter box, a mini gradient heart checklist, and a half box (see pictures 7 & 8)
  5. Within these labels and boxes write the name of the event, note, or "to do" on the sticker and use a character to sticker to represent each event if you want. For example, on Monday, I use an "Emoti" looking at a piece of paper to mark my physics exam (see picture 9).
  6. Repeat this for each day you use your planner to make the finished product (see picture 9)!
