Weather Graph for 3rd Grade

This assignment allows students to start to use a graph to understand and chart data, observations, etc. over a period of time. Students can start to uses tools, like charts, and understand how they will be important throughout their education and their life. Students will also learn about making these tools visually appealing. They will have to make the chart neat and show their creativity and craftsmanship when they are working on the graph. The project connects visual arts standards to the science standards which are align with 3rd grade Indiana State Standards. The incorporation of the two will show students that art and visual learning is extremely important in their education. The project will also engage students and allow them to be creative while following directions.
