Watertight Glass Magic Trick

Here is a fun, simple trick that is sure to astound somebody! Try doing this one multiple times if the first time doesn't work. Have fun!

For this cool magic trick, you will need a glass or cup of water, some water, and some paper that's big enough to fit over the cup or glass.

First, fill the glass about halfway with water. If you fill the cup more than halfway, the trick won't work as easily. If you fill the cup less than halfway, the trick isn't as astounding.

Now, place the paper over the cup. Make sure that there aren't any gaps. If there are gaps, the trick won't work.

Now, carefully flip the cup (and paper) over, minding not to slosh the water around too much. Don't move the cup too much. Do not worry if the water leaks. Try again, and if you used a glass, use a cup next. Cups are lighter.

If you've completed this trick, try some variations! One variation is trying to stick pins through the paper after flipping the cup over. Also try exploring different amounts of water in the cup. Have fun playing with this trick!
