Dirty lake water has been an issue since the existence of humans, today this is one of the biggest problems we humans face. There are many people trying to solve this in many ways but none are time and cost-efficient. This is the sole reason I have chosen this issue to solve. I want to create a cost and time-efficient solution to clean our plant's dirty water. This filter can be used for poor people without filtered water.

What Did I Do?

I have managed to finish the science fair. After finishing the filter and testing it, the results were surprising I was not expecting such a simple filter would have such an impact specifically that this costs less than 2 SAR. This filter was able to clean water that was so dirty it could get people sick or even killed if not treated properly. This is also very good because not only can I do it, people who aren't exposed to clean water every day can very easily make this without having to break the bank.

Conclusion

To conclude, this experiment was a total success it applied to the criteria I set at the beginning which was a cheap and time-efficient water filter that anyone can make regardless of their wealth. This is the result of the experiment I was able to make a water filter that filters out all the dirt and algae that was in it and has a byproduct of only drinkable water.

Why Is This a Great Idea?

I believe that having clean water is something every human should have. Regardless of their living situation, it is essential that everyone has the right to have. However, this is not the case, there are millions of people living without clean water. This is an issue that has puzzled me since I was young. This is why I believe that it's a great idea to make a cheap and easy solution that anyone can afford so they can get clean water.

What Did I Learn in This Process?

Throughout this experiment, I learned that with the power of science anything is possible. If enough people care and they truly want to achieve something, it can be done.

Plan for the Future.

To take this further, finding a more efficient and cheaper solution is the next step. Along with making it something that anyone in the world can get their hands on. By doing this we are able to create a long-term solution to the problem of water purification.
