Water Proof Switch
Here is an easy instructible for making your electrical switch water proof and submersible. I built a small battery operated watercraft and needed a switch that was submersible. No one makes a truly water proof or submersible switch. I had to figure something out..... Lets check it out......

3/4 inch Heat Shrink (about 3 inches long)
Switch
3/4 inch Heat Shrink (about 3 inches long)
1st Step
Shrink about 1/2 - 3/4 inch of one end and press flat till cool. This is your first seal. I put hot glue on the edge to help seal it.
2nd Step
Make the necessary electrical connections and insert the switch.
3rd Step
Inject High Temp hot glue. The temperature of the hot glue will begin the shrinking process of the heat shrink, and seal the switch, wires and drip out of the end.
BE CAREFUL!!!! THIS IS HOT!!!
It will ooze out.
Your are now ready to operate it in wet conditions.
