Watching Star Wars in Command Prompt

Neat trick that every windows computer can do with a few simple commands!

Opening Windows Start Menu

Instructables Click windows Icon.png
Windows Icon Results.png

Click windows icon in taskbar.

Opening Command Prompt

Typing CMD.png

Start typing "cmd" after opening windows icon. A search bar will automatically be generated.

Running Command Prompt As Administrator

Right click command prompt and select run as administrator.

Type Command

Type or Paste the following command into the terminal or command prompt window:

pkgmgr /iu:"TelnetClient"

Activating First Command

Press Enter.

Refresh Command Prompt/Terminal

Closing Terminal.png

Click exit button.

Repeat Step 1 - Click Windows Icon

Click Windows Icon located in taskbar.

Open Run Application

Run Command Application.PNG

Start Typing "Run" in Windows Start Menu. A search bar will be automatically generated.

Select Application.

Opening Command Prompt or Terminal

Type "cmd" in search bar generated by Run Application.

Activate Run Program Search

Click Ok Button.png

Press Enter Key or Click Ok Button after typing text from previous step.

Type Second Command in Command Prompt/Terminal Window

Last Command.png

Type or Paste the following command in command prompt/Terminal:

Telnet Towel.blinkenlights.nl

Repeat Step 5 to Activate Command

Click Enter Key on keyboard.

Watch Star Wars Movie!

Sit Back and Enjoy.

Stop Star Wars Movie

Repeat Step 6. Close Command Prompt/Terminal Window by clicking Exit Icon.
