Watch Necklace

I am going to create a 3D-printed watch that is worn as a necklace. The watch will only require you to 3D print three parts. The parts are the case, the dial, and the hand. The watch is sketched on Solidworks with MMGS as the document units. You can change the dimensions of the parts if you want a specific size. The filament used to 3D print the watch is PETG.
Supplies
- 3D printer
- PETG Filament
The Case

Sketch a circle on the top plane with a diameter of 50mm, like the picture above.
The Case

Boss-extrude the circle by 5.5mm.
The Case

On the top face of the extruded circle, sketch a circle with a diameter of 45.9mm
The Case

Cut-extrude the newly sketched circle by 4.75mm
The Case

On the top face of the part, sketch a handle and dimension it like the photo above.
The Case

Boss-extrude the sketch from step 5 up to the bottom of the part.
The Case

Mirror the extruded feature using the front plane.
The Case

On the bottom face inside the part, sketch 4 rectangles centered around the origin. Make sure that the vertices are touching the inner circle, and dimension the rectangles like the pictures above.
The Case

Boss-extrude the 4 rectangles up by 3.25mm
The Case

When you have followed all the steps, your part should look like the part in the picture above.
The Dial

On the top plane, sketch a circle with a diameter of 45mm.
The Dial

Boss-extrude the circle up by 2mm.
The Dial

Start a new sketch on the top face of the part, then offset the circle by .8mm.
The Dial

Sketch 1 rectangle with 2 vertices connected to the top of the circle. Once you have done that, add the dimensions in the picture above.
The Dial

Use the circular sketch pattern following the direction of the circle with equal spacing. Set the number of instances to 60.
The Dial

Boss-extrude the rectangles by 0.625 mm.
The Dial

Sketch 1 rectangle with 2 vertices connected to the top of the circle from step 3. Once you have done that, add the dimensions in the picture above.
The Dial

Use the circular sketch pattern following the direction of the circle with equal spacing. Set the number of instances to 12.
The Dial

Boss-extrude the rectangles by 1 mm.
The Dial

On the top face of the dial, start a new sketch and add the numbers on the dial. You can space them the way you want. You can also choose the font and size.
The Dial

Boss-extrude the numbers by 1 mm.
The Dial

On the top face of the dial, sketch a circle that is centered at the origin and has a diameter of 4mm
The Dial

Cut-extrude the circle by 2mm.
The Dial

On the bottom face of the dial, sketch 4 rectangles. Add relations and dimensions to match the picture above.
The Dial

Cut-extrude the rectangles into the dial by 1mm.

When you have followed all the steps, your part should look like the dial in the picture above
The Hand

On the top plane, sketch a circle with a diameter of 3.75mm
The Hand

Boss-extrude the up circle by 3.5mm.
The Hand

On the top face of the part, sketch a circle with a diameter of 2.4mm.
The Hand

Boss-extrude the circle from the previous step by 2.25mm.
The Hand

On the top face of the newly extruded circle, draw the same circle with the same diameter. Then, sketch 2 lines like a triangle, but make the bottom vertices tangent to the circle. Finally, add the dimensions and remaining relations to match the picture above.
The Hand

Boss-extrude the sketch down by 0.5mm.
The Hand

When you have followed all the steps, your part should look like the hand in the picture above
