Washing Dog Outside
Imagine coming home to a dirty dog and it happens to be nice outside. So, it would be easier to wash your dog outside to avoid the extra mess but are not exactly sure what to do. This article will explain how to wash a dirty dog outside.
Step 1: Get Prepaired
The thing required to be able to wash a dog outside is a soap, water, towel (optional), rag (optional), leash (optional). Be sure not to get the soap in the dog’s eyes and be sure everything is ready. Some advice makes sure your dog cannot get dirty after it's clean. It also helps if there is an extra person helping clean the dog.
Step 2: Get Dog Wet
The first step is to prepare the water. Make sure there is enough to drench the dog. After getting the dog wet.
Step 3: Apply Soap to Dog
Next, get the soap ready. Then when the dog is wet apply the soap to the dog. Make sure not to get the soap in the dog’s eyes.
Step 4: Scrub Dog
Make to have something to move the soap around. Be sure to scrub the dog well. Make sure the dog's coat is completely soapy.
Step 5: Rinse Off the Dog
Then rinse the dog off with water. Make sure to get all the soap off the dog. Also, try not to get the soapy water into the dog’s eyes.
Step 6: Dry the Dog
Finally, to dry off the dog either use a towel or let the dog air dry either way they should dry off. If the dog air dry’s it takes longer, but no towel is needed. If the dog is dry with a towel the there is more laundry.
Step 7: Clean Up
Afterward, the sidewalk or the place the dog was cleaned might need to be cleaned off. Then put everything away so your dog does not get into the soap and other stuff used to clean the dog. Also, a good idea is to have an area picked out to put the dog when done, so it does not get dirty right after getting cleaned.
