Be sure not to get the soap in the dog’s eyes and be sure everything is ready. Some advice makes sure your dog cannot get dirty after it's clean. It also helps if there is an extra person helping clean the dog.

Afterward, the sidewalk or the place the dog was cleaned might need to be cleaned off. Then put everything away so your dog does not get into the soap and other stuff used to clean the dog. Also, a good idea is to have an area picked out to put the dog when done, so it does not get dirty right after getting cleaned.
