Washers: Lawn Game

A fun lawn game to play with friends.

Materials:

1. Eight 4" by 16" by 3/4" pieces of dry hard wood of any kind
2. Two 16" by 16" by 3/4" pieces of dry hard wood of any kind
3. Two 14.5" by 14.5" squares of liner: felt, carpet, just some thick fabric.
4. 8"s of 4" PVC

Tools:

1. Planer
2. Dovetail set up
3. Coping saw
4. Japanese hand saw
5. Table saw
6. Chop saw

Its best to start with a 9" by 64" board of a larger thickness around 1 1/4" then plane down to 3/4" to get a nice surface.

Cut board to size: Eight 4" by 16" by 3/4" pieces

Cut 4 boards with tails on both ends and cut 4 with pins on both sides.

Prep the bottom by cutting it two 16" by 16finding the center and making a circle groove for the PVC to fit in. Then using the table saw cut a blade thickness groove 3/4" into the board on the side facing up.

cut you PVC into two 4" pieces sand them if necessary.

Now cut carpet to fit inside of the box, including hole for the PVC.

Glue everything together using the necessary adhesive.
