Walnut Liqueur
Hello my friends .
Every year at this time we use to prepare this liqueur, because of its amazing taste, we did not miss this year either.
Every year we make a proven recipe + we also try to experiment.
This instruction contains our classics, but I also prepared two other bottles of the experiment, which differ only in the number of coffee beans, cloves, I replaced vodka with rum, added star anise, lemon...
Supplies
- Green walnut 25-30
- cinnamon
- 20 pieces of cloves
- 40 pieces of coffee beans
- 300 grams. sugar
- 2 bottles of vodka 2x 0,7l or 1l + 0,5l
- optional-20 g bags of vanilla sugar 2pcs. or vanilla pods
- knife
- Jar 3-4 litre , 1 Gal.
- wash the walnuts and cut them in half. - Some cut them into quarters, it's up to you
- when the nuts are chopped, add sugar and other ingredients
- and pour vodka
- close the bottle,shake occasionally, the sugar will dissolve over time. The liquid darkens, almost black.
- store on the windowsill,
- let rest min. 8 weeks, but 10 or 12 is also fine, nothing will go wrong
- then strain, bottle and enjoy.
In the last picture, you can notice the difference in color, caused only by the amount of coffee and nails. ..and 1,5l vodka left, 1,4l vodka right...
