  1. Sew the two mouth pieces along flat edge together making a taco shape.
  2. Mark safety eye placement on top head piece between rows 8 and 9 with 7 stitches in between.
  3. Embroider eyelashes at eye placement.
  4. Attach safety eyes. Make sure they are secure.
  5. Embroider eyebrows.
  6. Sew one half of the taco shape into the top head piece centering the front of the face with the center of one half of the curved piece. The flat seam is inside the head and the sewing yarn does not show through to the front of the face.
  7. Pin and sew the other half of the mouthpiece to the bottom head piece centering the curve opposite the last stitch.
  8. Embroider two white teeth in mouth using white worsted yarn and large French knots. Hide tails inside of head.
  9. Cut tongue out of pink felt and glue inside of mouth. You can do this at any time, just allow the glue to dry thoroughly before further manipulation.
  10. Sew the two head pieces together from the sides of the mouth to the back, stuff firmly before closing.
  11. Align hair piece with top and bottom of head, sew on with fun fur tail or white worsted yarn, whichever is easiest. The hair on the bottom of the head makes a sort of neck ruff.
  12. Sew small waffles onto side of head evenly spaced. Use pictures of Waffles as a guide for placement.
  13. Sew completed head onto stuffed body covering the small hole left at the top of the body piece.
  14. Sew the big waffle onto center of body. Use pictures of Waffles as a guide.
  15. Sew arms onto body opposite each other near the top of the body.
  16. Sew legs onto bottom of body, evenly spaced and aligned with the arms.
  17. Sew shoes onto bottom on legs. Legs should be in middle of shoe with a little space around.
  18. Tack scarf around neck. Use pictures of Waffles as a guide. You can either have one tail or two. I did one to reduce bulk.
  19. Glue tiny strawberry onto scarf. You can do this at any time, just allow the glue to dry thoroughly before further manipulation.
  20. Use comb to brush fur to make extra furry.
  21. Give Waffles a snack because I'm sure he's hungry after all of that.
