W.O.W Horde & Alliance Paintings

WOW-Photo2.jpg

World of Warcraft was introduced to me by my S.O a few years ago, and of course for our game room, I had to paint our sides on canvas. I am strictly Alliance, while he has forever been Horde, ever since classic! I hope you enjoy my take on the two sides for my art! Thank you

Supplies

Two (2) Canvas - Any size will do

Pencil

Ruler

ALL Paint - White, Black

HORDE Paint - Dark/Maroon Red

ALLIANCE Paint - Dark/Navy Blue, Gold

As seen above, I pulled up my favorite design of the original Horde sign. I then used a ruler and pencil and marked all the way down the middle from top to bottom, then down the middle from left to right. I then started my design on blank canvas with a pencil, very lightly. Make changes as you go, to get it how you prefer!

  1. Coat a light white base over the canvas to cover any eraser marks while you made your final design/stencil. But not enough to remove your lines!!
  2. Use your dark/maroon red paint and fill your design on the inside. While that is drying, take a sponge brush and do a dark/maroon red border along your canvas.
  3. Use your black paint and draw a thin line/border around your design. While that is drying, take a sponge brush and do a second border along your canvas.
  4. TIP: Do swirling motions while pressing down lightly to create the effect I made in my Horde border.
  5. Use your white paint again for any touchups! Go over the border with more red or black to your liking!

  1. Coat a light gold base over the canvas to cover any eraser marks while you made your final design/stencil. But not enough to remove your lines!!
  2. Use your dark/navy blue paint and fill your design on the inside.
